Batumi Shota State University was established in 1935 located in Batumi, Georgia which is accredited with National Medical Commission (NMC), The World Health Organization (WHO), and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). The university is recognized by FAIMER, MCC, UNESCO, Georgian Education Ministry, and National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
The university has three research institutes with seven faculties that includes Economics and Business, Exact Sciences and Education, Law and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Health, Technology, Tourism, and Humanities. Over 6,000 students enrolled in UG, PG, and PhD programs.
